about me

Originally from San Francisco, California, Walker Schneckenberger is a bicoastal actress, director, and model currently based in New York City. She recently earned her BFA from New York University, where she trained at both the Atlantic Acting School and the Experimental Theater Wing. Walker’s recent performance credits include Lady Macbeth in Macbeth with Shakespeare in the Square, and 4 (Forever Irene) in Concord Floral at the Linda Gross Theater. On screen, she starred in the recent films Above the Light and Of You, directed by Thomas Kuc. Over the past year, Walker co-directed the Off-Broadway production of Lost Girl with The Viscera Theater Collective. She also adapted and performed in Frogs, translated by Peter Meineck, for the world premiere and inaugural production of the Frayed Knot Collective (FKC) in Los Angeles. As a founding board member and head of the literary department of FKC, she continues to play a vital role in shaping the company’s upcoming season (more details soon!). In addition, she’s acted in multiple Experimental Theater Wing “Individual Projects”: original works written, produced, directed, and designed by fellow ETW students. Currently, she is producing her first music video for upcoming artist, Truuman, and Assistant Directing a new play, Helen in Her Homeland with FKC! Off both stage and screen she is known as a person who cherishes the complexities of being human, wandering through life with an empathetic nature, a quick wit, a love of laughter, and usually, a coffee in hand.
